Jobs to Work From Home

I have some tips that would allow moms to earn some extra cash!

  • Become a virtual assistant.
  • Learn how to use twitter and find clients who need upkeep on their facebook and twitter accounts. Start small but if you gain fans you will gain followers.

I started a poem business called The Poem Lady and I write bar/bat mitzvah candlelighting ceremony poems. I also do customized baby and bridal shower poems. I can do them from home and there are no overhead costs.

You can even set up a facebook fanpage instead of building a website.

Re-Invent Your Skill Set

Think about what you did before kids and find a niche within that that could create an at-home job. For example, my career pre children was editorial and communication solutions for businesses. Post-kids (and divorce) I now offer turnkey communication solutions for small-large businesses that encompass marketing and PR for b2b, b2c and b2e channels. This eliminates the need for three or four different agencies and a cost-effective siltution for businesses.

Working from home means I can attend school events for my kids, be home to eat with them and spend time with them in general.
