As a work at home Mom it can be difficult to fit in the time to network.  It isn’t likely that you’ll drag your 2 year old out to a lunch meeting with your client. Business Networking & Referral Strategist, Patti DeNucci, shares the following tips with work at home Moms that will provide them with flexibility and the networking time they need.

Networking Groups

Schedule a time and a place to meet people. There are many after-business-hours networking groups available that you can join in your community. These meetings can be attended as frequently or infrequently as you see fit and when your husband is home from work.

Schedule Virtual Coffees

Sometimes it’s hard to get out and have a one-on-one chat face to face, especially if you have kids at home or live in a big metro area. Save time but stay connected by scheduling a virtual coffee or tea visit over the phone. This is most suited for relationships you’ve already established, but can also help you get more acquainted with someone you met at a recent networking function.
