Start with Mastering the Basics

If you want to add certain computer skills to your resume that would make you a viable candidate for most positions in today’s job market then you should start with the basics and work your way up.

The basic computer programs that everyone should know and that are in demand at any office would me MS word and MS Excel. There are a lot of features on both that one should be aware of before putting them on your resume.

If you added a working knowledge of HTML then you would be all the better for it because then you can start integrating different files into some light web work that could take you a few steps higher up the rungs of the company you are applying to.
