With a new school year upon us, work at home moms are faced with modifying their schedules and rearranging their work days. While some may feel back to school makes it easier for work at home moms, it can actually be tougher as there are fewer hours in the day to complete our many tasks.
By planning interviews and work related activities while the kids are at school, you gain much needed quiet time before the kids come home and the after school running begins. For younger children who are still at home, seek out play groups and library programs which can buy you valuable time.
In my home, teamwork is key. Delegating household chores takes the pressure off of the work at home mom. Taking one day to prepare several meals for the week helps in preserving time during the week for family dinners.
No matter what the season, work at home moms have to master creativity and flexibility. Think outside of the box and create your own success!
