A helpful way to save money is to first get organized.  It is easier to use the coupons and products you have on hand if you know what and where they are.

Learn from certified professional organizer, Joanne Rinaldi, a few tips on getting organized to save money.

Get Organized to Save Money

Many of us have seen the television shows about hoarders. There is a common theme in many of their stories. The hoarders have financial issues in addition to their hoarding issues. Living an organized life can save you money in a number of ways. There are people who go out and buy something they know they have in their home but don’t have the time or energy to find.

Purging unwanted and or unused items allows you to see what you have so you are not wasting money on duplicates. Donating those same items to a charity will save you money at tax time in the form of deductions. Having an organized paperwork/bill paying system can help you avoid late fees and make use of valuable coupons, rebates and gift certificates.
