You may think you’re too busy to plan, but you’re actually too busy NOT to plan! On Saturday or Sunday, take a few minutes to organize the week. Those few minutes give you hours of time in your week. I always start with the meal schedule because I grocery shop on Sundays. When I know what I’m serving for breakfast, lunch, after school snacks and dinner, it’s easier for me to only buy what I need at the store and to prlan meals my family loves.
Next, I take a quick look at the calendar. My husband and I discuss any transportation needs, and I make a note of phone calls I need to make or special items I need to buy for an event like a birthday party. By taking a few minutes to plan, I have plenty of time to work and take care of my family.
